Modern Epic RV Resort in Spicewood Texas

Updated: Mar 12

Hello wonderful readers!

I am back to share another fun destination you can bring your family and friends and enjoy a unique stay. Take your RV into this resort for a fun vacation option or make it a unique stay by reserving your very own vintage trailer or tiny home on the resort. When we visited this resort, it was not like any other RV resort. This is a modern beautifully designed resort made for everyone. I will be talking about the Open Air Resorts Spicewood.

This resort is located in Spicewood Texas just outside of Austin. I believe there is another location in Harker Heights Texas, but I will be talking about the one is Spicewood today. Enjoy the nature experience in a modern fun setting while also enjoying all the aspects of the city of Austin in a short drive.

Check out their website to see the beautiful campground experience and options to stay like at a waterfront RV site, or the classic pull through RV sites, back in sites, tent camping areas or in one of their premium stays. They have a handful of vintage airstream units that have breathed a new life to create a unique camping experience with all the luxuries and modern charm.

During our stay in April, the cost for 2 days was about $140 total in a back-in RV site. During our stay, unfortunately it was pretty rainy, but we enjoyed their amenities. We had free Wi-Fi to watch movies at night and explore nature during the day.

Here is a list of amenities, check out more on their website

· shaded dog park with a little shower station to wash their paws

· playground

· pickleball and courtyard with large yard games

· sand volleyball pit

· ping pong table

· convenience store and lounge

· swimming pool

· stocked fishing pond

· laundry room

· bath houses

· propane and more

This pool area was so amazing, I wish we had visited during a warmer month. I can picture myself bringing my kids here and letting them explore around this fenced in area with the pool and yard games. While I can sit with my queen of the camper cold beverage and a book by the pool.

We had a wonderful time inside the resort and only needed to go outside the park to go to new restaurants and attractions. Overall, this resort had everything we needed and gave us another thing to add to our list- staying in one of their epic looking airstream trailers in the summer. Stay safe, travel long and travel happy!
